Fast Weight Loss Program

If you need a fast weight loss program, you don't need to do take drastic measures like starvation, taking controversial injections, or doing various "cleanses."  All you need is  It's really just a matter of focus, discipline and increased intensity to make this program work for you more quickly.

The reality on weight loss is very simple.  Slow and steady wins the race.  Our bodies are much more likely to keep the weight off when we do it using a consistent, sustained and steady process.  Study after study has shown that weight lost by using so-called fast weight loss programs is much more likely to be re-gained.  Plus, at a minimum, it is not a healthy way to lose weight.  On the worse end of the scale, it's flat out dangerous.   It is hard on your heart, kidneys and many other vital organs.  Our bodies just don't handle the rapid changes well.  Plus, the older you are, the worse the impact is likely to be.

If you are even thinking about any kind of rapid or fast weight loss program, you should absolutely see your doctor first!

Once you have done that, if you still are intent on losing weight quickly, you need to set reasonable expectations for your result.  If you want to lose 50-60 pounds in a month, I strongly suggest you step back and rethink that target.  While being overweight can make you feel miserable, losing weight that quickly can make you feel even worse. 

If you are hoping to lose a pound a day instead of 1/2 pound, that level of faster weight loss is manageable, practical and doable.  Not that these numbers are the only ones that can work, but I wanted to illustrate a point about what our bodies are capable and comfortable with versus what can be dangerous.

OK, so you have survived my attempts to dissuade you from losing weight quickly.  Let's work together and do this right.  If you have not read The Best Way To Lose Weight yet, go to that page and read it thoroughly.  There you will learn, in a nutshell, how I will help you lose the weight you want to lose.  But, unlike the "fast weight loss" crowd, you will be able to keep the weight off and keep losing more, if that is your goal.  Also, read about compound exercises and calisthenics workouts.  These are great resources to help you amp up your results.

You now understand the methodology of the weight loss program.  The key to losing the weight as quickly as possible lies in how dedicated & disciplined you are to the program itself.  If you have 3 or 4 cheat meals a week instead of the prescribed one, you will not lose weight as quickly.  If you only do your strength training 3 days per week instead of 5 days per week, you will have slower results.  If you drink too much alcohol, it will set you back.  The tighter you hold to what I am teaching, the faster your results will arrive. 

I am living proof.  In 40+ years, I have wavered in my level of discipline.  Each time, I put some weight back on.  When I realized my mistakes, I had to re-dedicate myself to the system.  I'm no psychologist, but I suspect that is fairly usual

If you have fast weight loss as a goal, be unusual.  Follow this plan to the letter and reap the rewards ASAP.
